The Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murrray Bruce, has cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari against blaming his predecessor and begin taking steps that would justify his stay in office.
Bruce who doubles as the common sense advocate, made this appeal via a tweet online posted on Sunday on his tweeter handle @benmurraybruce.
Bruce, who is also the Founder of Silverbird Group and author of “A Commonsense Revolution”, pointed out that leadership is time bond hence doesn’t give anybody a chance to fault those who governed before.
The tweet reads, “President Buhari, please leave your predecessors alone. Stop blaming them. Instead, let Nigerians see the outcome of your leadership. Those you constantly blame, have tangible outcomes of their leadership. Yet, you who blames them, has no tangible outcome of your leadership”.
Bruce’s tweet however had created controversy within hours of its publication, with many citizens lending their opinions,
