POLITICS: Governor Rochas Okorocha Issued Yet Another Strike By APC For Trash Talking The Party.

The governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has again been issued a strike against talking down on the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The strike this time is came from the National Working Committee of the party which advised the governor to humble himself and work with the state’s chapter of the party instead of dragging it to public scorn.

APC speaking through its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, issued the strike in a statement he signed in Abuja.

Hardly a day passes by without Governor Okorocha verbally assaulting our National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, and other party leaders over the recently concluded congresses in Imo State.”

“The import of the allegations was that the party was aware of a court order preventing it from conducting the Imo State congress following the receipt of a copy of the so-called court injunction, which directed it to maintain status quo.

“But nothing can be further from the truth. Even the published documents in the advertorial do not support this position and in fact expose a lie in the governor’s version of events, that the party was duly served and prevented from going ahead with the congress in Imo state.”

Abdullahi also made reference to an advert on the media sponsor by Okorocha’s associate tittled: “Let The Truth Speak For Itself” saying it, “was signed by a known associate of Governor Okorocha, one Ireagwu Obioma, who styles himself as ‘Acting Secretary, Imo APC.”
